Who is this lady?!

Hi and welcome :)

I am a middle-aged professional woman originally from New England area. I'm a mom to two energetic boys and a wife to the (almost) perfect man.  Through this platform, I intend to process life on life's terms, all the while helping others. I hope that by sharing my life experiences and perspective, I will help normalize other people's lives and hardships. I do, however, use the term "normalize" loosely as I realize not all people are disillusioned alcoholics such as me.

Here I will unfold my story of addiction, recovery, depression, and anxiety. I will share my experiences while I navigate life, particularly as a professional, wife, and mom. I will discuss my ugly truth as I have learned to embrace it for what it's worth. It is time for me to share my story, as I have been told I am only as sick as the secrets I keep. So, on July 6, 2024, I finally paused and stopped destroying all the wonders God has provided me, and started living the life as He intended. Here's my journey...
